Job Description
About the Role
Permanent, Full Time, Term Time (38/40 weeks per year).
The EdTech Administrator is accountable to the EdTech Print Room Manager and Administrator for the day-to-day operational management of the EdTech’s Department's Administrative, print room and system support functions.
The role is responsible for addressing first level print room requests from students, parents and staff, as well as providing administrative and digital learning support for the department.
Core Accountabilities
1. Provide administrative support for the print room functions, academic program, student services, teaching, and learning, EdTech service desk, digital learning, CIO and other members of the EdTech leadership team.
2. Support the management of workflow in the print room to ensure that the service desk is covered at all expected times.
3. Assist in the administration and distribution of materials.
4. Manage the procurement and inventory of stationery materials.
5. Maintain the ID card system, including photographing students, collation of data, printing of cards, issue of replacement cards, generation of photo lists for teachers, plus cards for support groups if required and authorised.
6. Collection and distribution of mail services across the school.
7. Assist with the financial processing and purchasing for the department.
8. Triaging of requests coming into the Service Desk in a timely manner.
9. Maintaining and supporting the customer relationship with all stakeholders.
The incumbent is required to undertake other duties, projects or tasks as directed, which are within his/her skills, competence and training, and undertake job-specific training and development. Consultation will occur as part of this process.
Desired Skills and Experience
Essential Criteria
1. 3+ years' experience in providing administrative support.
2. Proven ability to follow instructions when providing technical support.
3. High attention to detail.
4. Experience in the Microsoft Office suite at an advanced level.
5. Proven ability and willingness to learn new skills and gain competence in new technologies especially Information systems.
6. Demonstrated success in multitasking, thinking critically, and meeting deadlines.
7. Exceptional oral and written communications skills in a team environment.
8. Positive and resilient attitude.
9. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively to achieve organisational objectives.
Desirable Criteria
1. Tertiary qualifications in a business or ICT discipline.
2. Education industry experience.
3. Experience with the Synergetic School Information System.
4. Experienced with using ticketing tools.
5. Understanding of Change Management principles.
6. Understanding and experience in digital print production.
